Hello.

I've been able to build and run Stellarium with Qt 5.1.1 and Qt 5.2.0 RC1
on Ubuntu 13.10 Squashed Salamander. The only noticeable side effect is
some horrible screen flashing when I open a settings window, but it's
usable for development. Thankfully I don't suffer from epilepsy...

So I would like to know what is the current state of the project:
- Which is the "official" required Qt version? 5.0.1? 5.1.1? It seems that
the CMake file no longer states an explicit Qt version requirement.
- Is the porting to Qt 5 considered complete? Alex Wolf told me of at least
one bug caused by overlooked changes (QDate no longer supports the Julian
calendar switch, which causes our unit test to fail).
- Is the project usable/releasable in its current state? I'm getting emails
from the bug tracker about crashes and white screens on certain platforms.
- Are there any major issues that need to be addressed before a release?
- Are we going to wait for Qt 5.2 and implement new features (for example,
time zones, Georg Zotti's landscape stuff) before a new release?

And in general, what else do I need to know?

Regards,
Bogdan Marinov
