I'm not sure if this list is still active, but here goes. The STAF Perl interface doesn't seem to work anymore since moving from Ubuntu 12.04 to 16.04. In particular STAF::Submit is giving errors now. I thought this was my code, but even the demo script doesn't work:
./STAF.pl local ping ping Usage: STAF::Submit(location, service, request, syncoption=kSTAFReqSync) at ./STAF.pl line 29. STAF::Submit should only be requiring 3 args, per the docs. Adding the fourthone (should be only needed for Submit2) doesn't work either. Anyone seen this? Happens with both STAF 3.4.17 and 3.4.26. I've even tried compiling it from scratch and get the same result. Thanks, Scott
