In general on Windows 64-bit, a 64-bit program, e.g. 64-bit version of
STAF, can run 64-bit and 32-bit applications. However, a 32-bit
application cannot run a 64-bit application. So, the answer is no. A
32-bit application cannot run a 64-bit version of STAF APIs. But, feel
free to try it and see.

Subject: [staf-users] 32bit App Using 64bit Queue Service?
Hi,
We have a windows 2012r2 server which has the latest 64bit version of staf
installed (also 64bit). If there is a 32bit application running on the
same machine, can it use the Queue Service without installing the 32bit
version of staf?
Put another way, can the 32bit app use the staf 32 DLL and pass messages
via the 64bit queue service?
Thanks,
-T
