Yes, STAX provides a STAXDoc tool for generating documentation for your
STAX xml files (e.g. documentation about STAX functions and their
arguments). See section "Generating STAX Function Documentation" in the
STAX User's Guide at

Subject: [staf-users] tags for documentation
Is it possible to auto produce documentation in terms of API for STAX
functions implemented by me?
I was imaging something like tags to introduce to explicit fuctions name,
parameters, return value and if possible add personal tags to add to
function specification.
Is there something already developed for this?
