I talked to SourceForge support and they said that you can use the old
link format specifying the old bug/feature number (aka ticket number) and
it will redirect to the proper location. Or, you can use the old
bug/feature number in the new format. So, for example, to view STAF Bug
#3606977, you can view it using either of the following links:

- https://sourceforge.net/support/tracker.php?aid=3606977 (old format)
- https://sourceforge.net/p/staf/bugs/3606977 (new format)

So, this should allow you to see details about all the bugs/features
listed in the STAF History file at http://staf.sourceforge.net/history.php
.

I can add a note about this to the STAF History file if you think that
would be helpful.

Unfortunately, SourceForge upgraded the developer platform for the STAF
project on June 14, 2013 (all SF projects were upgraded) and this changed
a lot of things including the Bug/Feature numbers so that older
bugs/feature numbers in STAF History file no longer correlate to the
Bug/Feature numbers in SF, except for the most recent Bugs/Features fixed
in STAF V3.4.14 (e.g. the "lower" numbers will match current feature/bug
numbers) and were fixed after June 14, 2013. For example, the STAF
History file contains the following entry for Bug #1492 fixed in the last
STAF release, STAF V3.4.14.

  - Updated the STAF User's Guide in section "8.5.3 COPY DIRECTORY",
sub-section
"Examples", to remove 3 examples that use the TYPE option as it is not
a
valid option for a FS COPY DIRECTORY request (Bug #1492)

You can browse the STAF Bugs via the "Browse Bugs" option in the
navigation panel on the left side of the STAF home page at
http://staf.sourceforge.net, and then select "Closed Tickets" and you'll
find Bug #1492.

I'm still looking into this issue. All the bugs are still in SourceForge
(e.g. Look at the "All" Group when searching bugs), but the numbers for
bugs closed before June 14, 2013 now are the new "lower" bug numbers
(which don't match the bug numbers in the STAF History file).
