I need more information. Please provide the Python script that is failing
and specify exactly what line is failing with the complete error message.
Also, specify what version of Python you are using and what version of
STAF you are using and on what operating system. Provide the output of:
STAF local MISC LIST PROPERTIES
For more information about how to submit STAF service requests via a
Python script, including examples, see the STAF Python User's Guide at
http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/STAFPython.htm. This document
describes STAF's support for the Python language and includes information
on the core STAF Python APIs. STAF Python support must be installed in
order to submit requests to STAF via a Python program (this is selectable
when installing STAF). Also, note that you must use the STAF Python
libraries for the Python version that you have installed (also selectable
when installing STAF). You must also set the PYTHONPATH environment
variable to contain the STAF Python libraries. See section "3.0
Installation" in the STAF Python User's Guide for more information.
