When STAFProc starts up, it first reads the STAF configuration file
(C:\STAF\bin\STAF.cfg by default). I don't think STAFProc would come up
if it can't access this file but you should verify that it's not be edited
or something. Maybe there's some file that didn't get released when
STAFProc was shutdown previously. Note that you should always use the
STAF SHUTDOWN service to shut down STAFProc (e.g. STAF local SHUTDOWN
SHUTDOWN). Perhaps run "taskmgr" and make sure that there are no STAF
commands or processes previously started by STAF, or any java executables
that are for STAF Java services that did not get terminated before.
Note: These are all just guesses. I've never seen this error before.
Also, note that the current version of STAF is V3.4.8 so you may also want
to consider upgrading to STAF V3.4.8.

Hi,
I'm getting an odd error in an automated test. The staf proc starts, but
there is an error on the first line of the window on win2k8:
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another
process.

How can I figure out what file that refers to?
