The easiest setup is a single STAX server. This STAX server should be set
up for automatically backed up.
If you expect to have heavy load (e.g running 500+ STAX jobs in parallel)
then you should have a very high end STAX server with lots of memory.
Alternatively, you can multiple STAX servers to handle the heavy load.
This is a fairy complex setup and will require some STAX jobs to
coordinate the STAX servers and job execution.

Subject: [staf-users] STAF/STAX topology - best practices
We're updating a lot of stuff in our lab, among which is updating our
legacy STAF/STAX system. I have a question about system topology. Our
current setup has six machines, and each machine has both STAF and STAX
installed on it. I've read a few places that a better setup might be to
install STAF on all six machines but only install STAX on one 'master'
machine. Is that correct?
Thanks is advance.
