It appears your custom STAF Java service uses a Java class, com.vmware.vcqa.GenericConnectAnchor, that is not available via the classpath. Perhaps you need to add the jar file that contains this class to the classpath? I don't know what's in your custom STAF Java service or what vc5x-testware is, so it's hard for me to say. You may want to ask someone on your team who is familar with that custom STAF Java service and with vc5x-testware.
Was there any additional information in the JVM log? e.g. C:\STAF\data \STAF\lang\java\jvm\STAFJVM1\JVMLog.1 -------------------------------------------------------------- Sharon Lucas IBM Austin, luc...@us.ibm.com (512) 286-7313 or Tieline 363-7313 From: Lap Vong <lv...@vmware.com> To: "'staf-users@lists.sourceforge.net'" <staf-users@lists.sourceforge.net> Date: 11/04/2010 12:10 PM Subject: [staf-users] JSTAFSH.loadService error with Vmware STAF service Getting the following errors trying to start VM|SETUP|HOST service.
