It works when I copy from one Windows machine to another, but from Linux to
Windows it always hangs. From what I remember it stops after a variable
number of bytes (never very much though, f.ex. ~50 MB).

I can try this on Monday. I'm quite sure it's hung though, as it's taking
forever and the file size isn't changing. When copying from Windows it's
quite rapid.
