Hello,

I tried to install STAF on one VM Linux server (RedHat) and can't get it
working.

cat /etc/redhat-release

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3 (Tikanga)

It has something to do with the libraries and the Kernel they are
compiled for in my opinion but I can get it resolved.

First I tried with

STAF335-setup-linux-ia64.bin

Installed with not issues but can't get STAFProc running.

Error

-bash: ./STAFProc: cannot execute binary file

[1]+  Exit 126                ./STAFProc

The STAFInstall.log file shows that the OS version is AMD64

java.version                  == 1.6.0_11 (Java 1)

java.vm.name                  == Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM

file.encoding                 == UTF-8

user.name                     == root

user.home                     == /root

user.dir                      == /tmp/install.dir.25508

user.language                 == en

user.region                   == null

Second try with

AMD64 aka x86_64 build. As a result I can't get the installer running

./STAF335-setup-linux-amd64.bin -i console

-bash: ./STAF335-setup-linux-amd64.bin: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Text
file busy

So I think that the AMD64 version is correct but for some reason the
installer can start.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
