That's exactly what the FS service allows you to do. If you run the
following on <machineA>:

STAF <machineB> FS COPY FILE /tmp/test.txt TOFILE /usr/local/test.txt

The file will be copied from <machineB> to the local machine <machineB>.
The TOMACHINE option on the FS COPY request defaults to the machine which
originated the request.

Thanks,
David

Subject
[staf-users] Copying file from one machine to other machine

Hello All,

Using STAF service, I want to copy a file from user’s machine onto the
machine where service is running.
Drives of that machine are not mapped on user’s machine.

I can’t use STAF service FS, because I want to copy “FROM remote machine”
on “TO local machine” where service is running.

Please give some suggestion.

Thanks & Regards
