Yes.
When STAX processes an <import> element, STAX reads the contents of the
xml file you specified to be imported and stores it in memory (if the
imported file isn't already in the STAX file cache). So, after the
<import> element is processed, you can safely edit the imported xml file
without effecting STAX jobs that are currently running that have already
imported this xml file.

another STAX xml while the job running?
If A.xml has imported all functions from Common.xml and A is running,
Without terminating job A, is it safe to add new functions to Common.xml
to be used by a new B.xml?
