Hi, staf user folks

I want to transfer files using STAF FS service from Linux host to OS/400
machine.
Ccsid of the transferred files on OS/400 machine is 819(ascii).
Althought there is way to transfer it to EBCDIC(ccsid is 037) on OS/400
machine, but the effort is great.

So I guess STAF can convert the code during the file transfer.
I have tried several ways to do it.
For example, use STAFCONVDIR, STAFCODEPAGE=ibm-037 environment variable in
OS/400 machine, but it does not work.
If we STAFCODEPAGEOVERRIDE environment variable to ibm-037, STAFProc command
will be failed with error message:
"Invalid value set for the STAF_INSTANCE_NAME environment variable. It cannot
contain a ./"
But there is no such error when we use STAFCODEPAGEOVERRIDE environment
variable on Linux.

I am wondering how to do it in STAF?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
