STAF/Config/STAFRoot is not an environment variable, it is STAF variable
(so it is not in the Windows registry, and it is not a Windows environment
variable). When STAFProc starts, it will set the STAF/Config/STAFRoot
variable to the directory in which STAF is installed.

[staf-users] variable resolution in PPT example
In the STAF-STAX-HandsOn-Part2.ppt presentation, slide 12 shows variable
resolution of {STAF/Config/STAFRoot}. In Windows, is that variable one
that has been set up in the registry, by the installation process?
