There is a STAF executable that you can use to submit requests to STAF
from the command line. It is documented in the STAF User's Guide:
http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/STAFUG.htm#HDRSTAFEXECMD

For example, you can run:

$ STAF local VAR RESOLVE STRING {STAF/Config/ConfigFile}
Response
--------
C:\STAF\bin\STAF.cfg

$ STAF local TRUST LIST
Response
--------
Type    Entry                        Trust Level
------- ---------------------------- -----------
Default <None>                       3
Machine local://local                5
Machine tcp://abc.company.com        5

Subject
[staf-users] STAF diagnostic reporting

How can I get STAF to print diagnostic information to the command line?
For example, if I want to see the path to currently loaded config file, or
the currently set trust levels, how would I do that?

Thank you[attachment "ATT20066.txt" deleted by David Bender/Austin/IBM]
