Did you try using the STAF Perl 5.10 support for Linux that we atteached
to via Support Request #2012875 instead of building STAF Perl 5.10 support
yourself? See

Actually i wanted to compile only perl, the perl version with FC9 is
perl-5.10 for which it needs some modifications in the code. because of
lack of time we downgraded our OS to FC8 and its working fine. But sure
there will be a problem with FC9 with current sources.
