This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    bridge: check return value of ipv6_dev_get_saddr()

to the 3.0-stable tree which can be found at:
    
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     bridge-check-return-value-of-ipv6_dev_get_saddr.patch
and it can be found in the queue-3.0 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <[email protected]> know about it.

otherwise source IPv6 address of ICMPV6_MGM_QUERY packet
might be random junk if IPv6 is disabled on interface or
link-local address is not yet ready (DAD).
