Looks like the following has been updated with the
first port-packages are being officially distributed
for:

building for: FreeBSD 15stable-amd64-default-job-01 15.0-ALPHA2 FreeBSD 
15.0-ALPHA2 1500064 amd64

https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:15:amd64/latest/

is showing new timestamps, such as: 2025-Sep-16 21:55
So 15.0-ALPHA2 shoudl be able to bootstrap into
a pkg 2.3.1 official build.

Also: freshports is showing the pkg 2.3.1 based
build for FreeBSD:15:latest with a repo build date
2025-09-16 20:57 (UTC). Freshport's import is
listed as at 2025-09-18 00:00 UTC, so about an
hour ago as I write this.

aarch64, armv7, the various powerpc* are showing
older main 15 builds, such as PREPRELEASE ones.
