It's difficult to say without further information, but for some reason your command is not hitting redis, probably because the connection is down.

        check out http://redis.io/commands/monitor
        It will help you to determine the exact command that kamailio
        is delivering to the server when you execute the
        redis_cmd(...) function inside the script.
        For a non null reply, yo will need a key in redis with the
        same value as $si.
