Hi
I am wondering what are the major differences between kamailio 3.3
msrp module and sylkserver (http://sylkserver.com/features.phtml ) ?
msrp module is an implementation of a msrp relay, see RFC4975 and
RFC4976. I am not using the other software you mention, so have no clue
what it does. MSRP module is targeting usage with Kamailio as SIP
server, but can be used as a msrp relay for other sip applications --
although never tried, should be no problem.
Together with the presence module and other instant messaging
extensions, you can build a rich communication system (RCS/RCSe) just by
using Kamailio only.
Cheers,
Daniel
