Hi, the RTPProxy does not play wav-files directly. You need to convert them into a custom rtpproxy-format using "makeann", which is part of the rtpproxy-package. Makeann encodes the file directly into PCMA/PCMU/GSM-Codec files.
Also: To whom do you want to play the announcement? To the Calller? The rtpproxy does not create a proper response towards your phone (e.g. a "183 Session progress"), it just inserts the announcement into an existing stream (e.g. when the call is established, for music on hold).
