10k subscriber/ machine for REGISTER is not that much. Even if you include
redundancy in the picture you should be able to support several hundred
thousand subscriber on a fairly standard server, if you can use a longer
registration interval (e.g. have mainly residential/ SOHO customers).

How many 10k, 20k or even 50k registered users are out there using SR or any of it's predecessor or derivations? not many, for sure...

So, that's why I asked Ricardo about his project... :)
