I am not using the module, so from my point of view it should be fine, but to
be sure others are not affected (because a couple of years ago, there were
discussions about this module), I would prefer to send an email to sr-users
mailing lists informing about the intention to archive this module and if
nobody reaction in a week or so, merge the PR
