Yes, it is.

but in the *logformat *command, I cannot seem to work out what the square bracket is for?

When used at the beginning of a logformat %code name, a single square bracket character specifies a particular encoding algorithm for that %code values. To find documentation for that encoding, search for the words "Custom Squid encoding where percent" in recent squid.conf.documented or at

http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/config/logformat

HTH,

Alex.

For example:

    logformat squid %ts.%03tu %6tr %>a %Ss/%03>Hs %<st %rm %ru %[un
    %Sh/%<a %mt

Would anyone be able to tell me?

Many thanks,
lan
