Hi Anil, Red Hat takes the Squid sources that we provide, possibly adds a number of patches on top to facilitate integration with their environment, cover security vulnerabilities or add features that their customers want, distributes and provides support for it. The version number matches the version number distributed by the Squid project. You can find the actual details by looking at the source RPM - anyone purchasing RHEL should have access to the source according to the conditions of the Squid GNU GPL license.
