Apart from what Matus has already mentioned ... * the Java traceback shows TCP socket setup is timing out. * Squid access.log is showing those NONE transactions opening sockets then timing out before any data arrives. I would do a packet trace of the TCP the client software is sending to Squid to find out what is happening to those TCP sockets. * Are they actually going to Squid or elsewhere? * Are the SYN+ACK packets getting back to the client software?
