Thank you for the feedback! Regarding the taskbar issue you mention, I 
think it could be related with *menuinst *(the package used to interact 
with menus/shortcuts for conda packages). Also, we currently have an issue 
for a double icon in the taskbar that could be related with the described 
behavior (Two Spyder icons on Windows taskbar (regression?) · Issue #24292 
· spyder-ide/spyder <https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/issues/24292>).
