I find spyder very buggy. Does anyone use spyder on mac. I have tried spyder in anaconda, most recent on intel system with Sequoia os.
I understand that anaconda no longer supports spyder so I do not understand why Edx recmmends using this set up for a course mit 600. For instance, cut andpast are sometmes greyed out and sometimes not greyed out. This toggle is for reasons I cannot figure out. I can use cut and past using function keys. Also, sometimes the console contains lines that are NOT in the file I am running. The lines belong to older files that I ran in past, and I am not sure that key cap mapping is workingn for spyder. I quit the course last time because of this but thought some problems may have been due to that "keyboard" design that is no longer used. I am very disappointed to see Edx is still spyder for mac.
