Hi Daniel,

More recently, I installed VS Code for the sake of a Spyder's replacement
and so far I'm getting along well with it.
I didn't know there was VS Code (a Microsoft product) for Linux, but there
is. Clean install, good looks, lots of
options (way more than I actually need). I still miss a few Spyder
features, but *c'est la vie*.
