I installed rope-py3k on Windows 7 while Spyder was running, and indeed it
didn't go well, Spyder would crash at startup. I removed it (including
manually removing the .ropeproject directory under
C:\Users\...\.spyder2-py3\ ) and re-installed it when Spyder wasn't
running, and apparently it's working quite ok.
