Hello all, I just purchased new gauges for my flow testing of all kinds. I have digital and analog gauges. My question is. When conducting a fire pump flow test or flow test of any kind. Should/could I install a 1/4" snubber and filter like you would typically see on backflow test kit lines. on my flow gauges. I would like to take care of them. Try and reduced trash and debris while also reducing possible water hammer and hard water fluctuations on the gauges. Or is this something I am going to have to test and compare real world results.
