This might be a topic for off-line responses. (Direct email) I have a client wanting to update their fire pump controllers and standardize them to one manufacturer. This is a LARGE campus, with various sizes and types of fire pumps.
They said they heard of one major manufacturer whose units have been “known to go up in flames”. They’ve had others where they’ve had problems getting service and parts. The question: Are there any of the current mainstream manufacturers that are better than any others or are there any that should just be avoided? They would prefer US built.
