Good morning, Forum -
My understanding is that Viega’s product, Pro Press no longer
has a UL Lab’s listing for fire protection use. However, Viega is
maintaining
the FM Global approval.
My question is what does that mean to a contractor installing a copper
system
in an MRI room? Is the installation now unapproveable?
Or does the FM approval suffice on a non-FM install? Or is it a matter for
the local authority?
