Kyle, those lengths are to be used for 13D calculations. They're allowed
omissions per NFPA 13 2016 23.4.4.8.1 (3).

Subject: [Sprinklerforum] Hydraulic Calculations for CPVC - Tees -
Straight-through Flow

NFPA 13 clearly states that "fitting loss for straight-through flow in a tee or
cross shall not be included". But some of the manufacturer's data for CPVC
products specifically lists equivalent lengths for these fittings (tee on the
run) as well as for couplings.

So, are those equivalent lengths intended/required to be included in the
hydraulic calculations? If so, is it all the time or only in certain
situations? Someone suggested to me that if might be a requirement of 13D or
13R, but not 13. I haven't found that yet, though.

Thanks.
