I believe past editions of NFPA 13R (pre-2007) included an explanation that the bathtub area need not be included in the square foot area of the bathroom. However, current editions (in this case the 2016 edition) do not include this language. My question is, does the tub area need to be included in the bathroom area? Thanks for your help.
