Dear spring WG: During the recent meeting in Madrid, the authors of draft-ietf-spring-srv6-yang (YANG Data Model for SRv6 Base and Static) requested opinions on splitting the document into two:
- The current document would continue to include the SRv6 Types and SRv6 Base modules (see §6.1 and 6.2). - A new WG document will contain the SRv6 Static module (see §6.3). For more background, please see the slides from IETF 123: https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/123/materials/slides-123-spring-update-on-yang-models-for-srv6-base-and-static-00 The objective of this split is to progress the base model faster.
