[cc’ing the DHC WG + dhc-chairs for information.] The authors of draft-ietf-spring-dhc-distribute-srv6-locator-dhcp have requested early allocation of the DHCPv6 Option Codes specified in the draft. https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-spring-dhc-distribute-srv6-locator-dhcp/ According to rfc7120 (Early IANA Allocation) and in consultation with the dhc-chairs, we believe the specification is stable enough. This message is a call to determine whether the WG has any objection to requesting early allocation for these codepoints. Please express your opinion by June 12, 2024. Be explicit if you don't believe early allocation is appropriate now. Thanks! Alvaro.
