Hi Greg

Yes, this is consistent with my comment at the Mic:
“<snip> monitors <snip> a segment list <snip>” (not a candidate path or SR
policy)

Thanks

Subject: [spring] BFD in SPRING
Dear All,
I wanted to point to the discussion of the applicability of BFD in Segment
Routing<https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/spring/?gbt=1&index=dL4nXXGaZE91Ll8JlBfxbeXQLE0>
we had with Ketan, Changwang, Sasha, and Gyan. I believe that we've agreed on
the following text in
draft-ietf-spring-bfd<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-spring-bfd/>:
   Concluding from the definition
of BFD in [RFC5880], in an SR domain, BFD, in its modes and
functions, monitors not the SR Policy, as defined in [RFC9256], but a
segment list that is a constituent of the candidate path of the
particular SR Policy. That is the context used throughout the
   document.

Regards,
Greg
