Dear WG, We have just submitted a new version of draft-ietf-spring-srv6-srh-compression.
This revision aims at clarifying the use of ICMP ping with the SIDs of this document, based on Joel’s feedback (thanks!). In particular, we have merged section 10.1 (ping without a SID-list) and section 10.2 (ping via a SID-list), and described the rationale for setting the SID argument to 0 when pinging a SID directly. This revision also makes a few further clarifications to the high-level REPLACE-C-SID description (section 4.2) and fixes a typo in section 4.2.7. Any feedback welcome!
