Dear WG: As mentioned at last week's meeting in San Francisco [1], the WG will produce a document to provide a solid security analysis of SRv6. It will examine SRv6 as currently specified, identify threats, analyze mitigation mechanisms, and highlight gaps, but not propose solutions.
The chairs will select a team of five authors to write this document. As with any other document, the WG will decide on its adoption and eventual progress. If you want to serve as an author, please email the WG chairs *only* (no need to cc the WG list). If you believe there are reasons to select you that we may not be aware of, please include them in your email. This call is open until EOD on August 23, 2023. Thanks!
