As commented at the mic during the IETF 115 spring session, there are currently 5 documents covering BFD profiles for various segment routing technologies. One is adopted, the other four have yet to be adopted.
I have assembled a list of the documents as part of the regular BFD wiki maintenance: https://wiki.ietf.org/en/group/bfd/non-wg-related-activities My request to the spring working group is perhaps fewer documents adopted by spring covering these various profiles. Since there is overlap in many of the procedures, the document effectively could become "here is the desired testing mechanism" with the related example encapsulation. I'd like to thank the various authors for taking on the work of doing these small documents. It's necessary, and mostly thankless work. However, please let's find a way to reduce review work across both spring and bfd.
