I don't know how detailed the description should be, but the preexisting mjpeg backend has been kept, mjpeg/vp8/h264 are all optional. And this needs an updated spice-server (patches haven't landed yet). Maybe we can also be more explicit that it's only for streaming of areas where the video detection code has triggered. And imo it's a significant new feature, so could be higher up in the NEWS list :) Christophe
