Last time I tested it with windows 8 it got an installation error .
vdagent/vdservice & virtio-serial driver support Win8. only qxl driver
doesn't.
sure you can use vdagent without using qxl, but i have no idea if
spice-guest-tools installer supports this case.
Christophe?
It seems to control operating system version and does not know windows 8.
I tested it few months ago.

I tested your patch 5 minutes ago: it solved the agent issue.

Can I ask another question ?
When new agents will be released ?

And I'd like to know if it will support windows 8 !

Hi Harnon, I am sorry if I disturb you again.....
I am stiil waiting you send me vdservice & vdagent update to test
if it solves the issue with windows 7 guests.
At this time I solved with a schedulet task which controls if the
agent service is stopped and restarts it.
This solution is not the best because sceduled task runs every 1
minute and the user must wait if the service is stoped

Hi all,
I am testing spice with windows seven 64 bit guest on linux kvm .
The agent service stop to work when user logout and not restarts .
I solved using a scheduled task on windows seven but I think
this is a bug.
I used the last windows guest binaries from spice-space.org.
I read an old bug with the same issue has been solved
by redhat on rhev virtualuzation desktop platform.
