My environment: * Ubuntu 12.04 64bit * qemu 1.3.0 * libvirt 1.0.1 * spice 0.12.2 * spice-gtk 0.15 * virt-viewer 0.5.4
When I connected to the VM (a windows 7) as a normal user, I received an error - access denied. (See the attached screenshot) Below is the screen message on client end: $ remote-viewer spice://192.168.7.4:5901 (remote-viewer:7597): GSpice-WARNING **: Warning no automount-inhibiting implementation available libusb: 0.000000 error [op_open] libusb couldn't open USB device /dev/bus/usb/001/006: Permission denied. libusb: 0.000179 error [op_open] libusb requires write access to USB device nodes. Then I changed to root user, I received an error - libusb_error_io. (See the attached screenshot) Below is the screen message on client end: # remote-viewer spice://192.168.7.4:5901 (remote-viewer:7836): GSpice-WARNING **: Warning no automount-inhibiting implementation available libusb: 0.000000 error [sysfs_get_active_config_descriptor] short read 21/28
