This patch adds a --hotkeys cmdline option to spicec, to allow using the existing mechanism to override the default hotkeys from the cmdline.
I know spicec is a dead end, but I've a customer which is stuck with it for now, and who needs this functionality. I'm working on gathering a list of what is blocking them from moving over to remote-viewer. rhbz#872723 is one of the blockers.
