Be careful when virtualize linux desktops, and u expect good response to the screen. The Graphics mode can really effect the screen/desktop performance. I was badmounthng another distro, only to find out that the graphics mode has a huge effect on performance, and the default modes may be really bad config for a virtual environment.
This can even effect text mode, as well as graphics mode.
