I compiled spice 0.12.0 with qemu-kvm 1.2.0 on Ubuntu 12.04, it worked. But a windows guest with spice-guest-tools-0.1.exe installed didn't work correctly, there are lots of errors found in spice server:
Spice-Warning **: red_parse_qxl.c:371:red_get_image: guest error: missing palette on bitmap format=2 Guess this is caused by the versions incompatibility, spice-guest-tools-0.1.exe might still use the old 0.10.1 spice. Can anybody re-compile the windows tools with the latest spice, or give me a guide how to compile it?
