Looking at the code, prev_seg_id initialization is a bit convoluted, but I think this warning is a false positive. We could intialize it to 0 to make it disappear. What gcc version are you using? You can avoid the compilation failing on this warning by passing --disable-werror to configure/autogen.sh Christophe
