Hi,

On my local, captions of toctree title are extract to pot files. If
not, please file a new issue to the list. It would be nice if you have
minimal reproducible example. I'll take a look later.

About explicit titles, I just implement it in this week. It will be
shipped as 2.3.0 soon.
